Panglao is really a perfect paradise getaway in the Philippines. The island is not yet crowded with tourists nor huge hotels.
Getting there
An international airport is planned to be built in Panglao island. Until that is completed there are several ways to get there. One way is to take a domestic flight from Manila to Tagbilaran city airport. There are currently 6 flights per day so it is usually no problem to get a flight.

Panglaos hotel rates are still in an reasonable level compared to Boracay for example.
